I’m totally in love with this romantic floral Wedding Cake I was recently asked to make.
The romantic floral style in ivory on ivory is so classic and elegant. It looked perfect set up at Dunston Hall where the wood panelled room overlooks the beautifully manicured gardens and golf course.
For their wedding cake, the bride and groom chose a 6″ rich fruit cake soaked in brandy , an 8″ Victoria sponge with raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream and a delicious caramel sponge layered with home made caramel and buttercream. The sponge tiers were covered in a layer of white chocolate ganache before finishing with icing.
Each handmade rose can take up to half an hour to make consisting of around 20 individually cut and and shaped petals. They are a labour of love, but don’t they just look stunning!
